to conduct conformance test as detailed in IMO MSC.1/Circ.1257 “GUIDANCE ON THE SURVEY AND CERTIFICATION OF COMPLIANCES OF SHIPS WITH THE REQUIREMENT TO TRANSMIT LRIT INFORMATION (LONG-RANGE IDENTIFICATION AND TRACKING SYSTEMS)” in accordance with the requirements of the International Convention for the Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS), 1974, as amended, Chapter V(Safety Of Navigation), Regulation 19-1 which will come in to effect at the time of first Safety Radio Survey after JANUARY 2009.
